Workspace Definition File Sources

There are two ways that workspace definition files (WDFs) can be created:

• through Web Services - these WDFs are created using the Docupresentment service
• in Documaker Studio - these WDFs are created manually using the Export Definition File tool

From the Manage Workspace Definition Files dialog, you can perform any of the following tasks using WDFs from either source:

• selecting a WDF
• Viewing Workspace Definition File Details
• Removing a Workspace Definition File

You can perform the following tasks only with a WDF created by Web Services:

• downloading a WDF
• updating a WDF
